this manwha has officially joined the list of lost cases for me.. after 5 years of reading it I finally dropped it.
I can't take it anymore. the dragon is just so damn ugly and the whole story has been so tedious since the last arc..
it's really sad bc I really liked it, but I really wished that the "big finale" would have been done better..
I'm sure many people like it, but for me personally this whole witch/tree of life/book of end/past arc thingy is just sooo boring. and it drags on so so much.
it's a pity, but maybe I'll check back when it's actually completed to read the final chapter

oof, this one is BAD. usually I'm not that harsh, but this one makes it real difficult. the plot twists are so obvious.
I mean the tea cup thing.. ofc both were poisoned.. I mean even if he didn't have an antidote, he wouldn't need to drink the second cup anyways since she's dead? like it was so obvious? with the silver spoon already could have been "both are poisoned" (just put in the tip, turn it around and put the other end in the other cup..not like the whole spoon gets black)
and the maid thing?? "huh? there's a suspicious maid at a room where she's has nothing to do at? yeah, let's follow the unknown maid to the room" WHEN THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AN INSIDER cheezus.
she's literally doing the most stupid things and I feel like the author had to give her a revive item because they couldn't think of a way to get her out of those situations first try

either I'm very tired or there was not a single coherent thought in that story.. there wasn't the palest of red strings even connecting two single panels together and the consent was as gray as the night sky suring new moon in the middle of a cave...
ok, story is over? like.. evil antagonist got defeated, they vowed their love to each other..
what more is there to do? I honestly feel like it's dragging on right now and I'm kinda feeling like dropping it bc imo there's no more story to tell?
I don't need some artificial drama with blond lady where there are no stakes..
am I the only one who feels like this? like the plot has plotted out? if there are more chapters like this where everything is fine and dandy and it's just going on for the sake of going on I'll drop it until it's finished and then read the last chapter probably
so I got fed up with the uploads (so many different versions of chapters and then the officials being at the beginning and then at the end and whatnot) so I bought the book.
and now I'm low-key devastated that I have to wait 6-12 months for volume 6 to release. it's such a bad cliffhanger I need chapter 31 NOW.
once again.. a series I really enjoy ruined by a change of artstyle. when I saw Seo Gangrim in ch 63 for the first time I literally went "who tf are you"...
I hate it sooo muchhhhhh...
I know it's not as bad as some other Webtoons, but still.. the old Style was so nice and pretty and the new one is just so.. generic and boring and Gangrim doesn't look like himself anymore..
I can't tell what exactly it is, but somehow the emotions don't get translated properly with the new Style, and that somehow irks ms

I just dropped it and went to read the comments. last time I was here people were like "the MC is shit/psycho, the story will be rape and nothing else" but now it's full of "omg this is so hot" comments..

once I've realizes the sheer absurdity of length that are the arms, everything was ruined. I couldn't look anywhere else. not a single word read, I only could wait for another glimpse of those criminally long hand attachees.
but in all seriousness. those arms ARE FRICKIN LONG.
OK I know we all complain about the artstyle.. but.. did the artstyle get worse in this chapter? yeah, I don't like the new style either, but at least before it looked clean? this chapter looked kinda scratchy? like there wasn't enough time to finish it? or is the artist trying to subtly change the artstyle a bit?
I thought the premise was really interesting and I really thought the whole thing would take a bit of a darker turn, especially bc of the beginning, but then he's just.. "hehe :p"??
I had hoped that this would be more serious and he'd act more like a classical "evil supervisor" (let's think more like the dokkaebis from orv..) - and I'm kinda confused as to why make him one of those entities and then he's just "ok I'm telling you exactly everything you need to do"..so he told the sword Empress how to clear the dungeon and the was like "nah, she did it all by herself!!"
also I kinda hate those silly chibi faces, they make me low-key uncomfortable.. so although the premise was interesting, I decided to drop it... if anyone's interested tho, there's sth with a similar premise, but more serious - - >" nebula's civilization" (the MC is not evil in there either, but far more detached from the story, more like a teller in a sense :'D)
