Author-nim really said “let me give Jaekyung the saddest backstory I can think of, that’ll get everyone to forgive him :33” as 1) he didn’t already have stans excusing his awful behavior from the beginning bc he’s attractive, and 2) HIS BACKSTORY STILL DOESNT EXCUSE HIS BEHAVIOR.
