I think everyone is forgetting that the manga is set in Japan, where many schools still prohibit students from dating. I remember that a few years ago, a senior was expelled after it was discovered she was dating, so I imagine the manga is based on that.
that’s true, but in this case they’re not threatening her because of that but because they think the people from Chidori are “filthy” or “a disgrace”. also if they were “worried” for her, they wouldn’t act this way, they would try to protect her but that’s clearly not their concern
