I think the sentiment about this story is pretty much unanimous— nothing the author does about Jaekyung at this point will be sufficient to redeem him. The author could’ve chosen to make him aware of his feelings and begin his change for the better but instead chose to make yet another reason for him to behave worse than garbage. No “redemption” arc will make us forget what a true piece of shit he’s been throughout the ENTIRE story. I’m sorry but at this point Kim Dan is better off disappearing and never getting close to the trash Jaekyung ever again, and for potato and Heesung to become the protagonists of the story istg
