I wouldn’t really call it “revenge”. ML explained he originally wanted to see MC cry and feel what it was like to have his life fall apart and heart break. The revenge plot honestly wasn’t touched on as much as I’d liked it to be. Basically pink hair asks ML if he’s just here to get revenge on MC and ML wasn’t even aware that’s what he was trying to do. He was like “oh so me wanting to see his heart shatter I guess was revenge”. And then they honestly move on immediately. ML and MC are in love and they get together and breeze past the revenge. It mostly was a trauma response and fear of abandonment issue which was why he reacted like that, I don’t think he actually wanted revenge.
