The author should have given us proper closure — no matter how good or bad it might have been. I've been thinking the same thing. I have like 2 assumptions either the author doesn't know how to process siwoo and dohyeok relationship. Or they want to write another story because they have been focused on 1 story for almost 5 years
I really miss Do Hyeok and his love for Siwoo. Their relationship had so much depth and emotion—it truly deserved more.

Do Hyeok and Siwoo didn’t get along at all. Do Hyeok was unstable and jealous, while Siwoo was calm and strong. They clashed often because Siwoo stood up to him. In the end, Do Hyeok was left alone, and Siwoo stayed firm.
I really wish the author-nim would continue Do Hyeok and Siwoo’s story. Their dynamic was intense and unresolved—there’s so much potential for character growth, healing, or even a surprising twist. Another side story just about them would be amazing!
The author mentioned that Han Jae-won would be the second male lead, but honestly, there isn’t much about him in the story. I really wanted to see more of him with Tae-kyung; he feels like the one who truly understands and complements Tae-kyung’s personality. Han Jae-won’s quiet warmth and emotional maturity could have balanced Tae-kyung’s struggles better than anyone else. It’s a shame the story didn’t explore their connection further — their chemistry had the potential to be something deep and healing, not just another side plot.
