The boss coworker said in one opportunity “your father is coming to pay you a visit soon. He will complain about your hair again” I’m sure the boss is actually a man passing as a woman.
This will spike Minato’s insecurities even more. Because if a woman was a problem in the past, imagine if Shizuma starts being all nice and gentlemanly towards the guy.
I honestly want a third wheel for Shizuma. I’m so tired of seeing Minato struggle throughout the story? I want Shizuma to feel genuine and true jealousy and insecurities. To feel that there is people out there who can make Minato happy other than him without all the insecurities. So the dude gets his shit together and stops being a people pleaser.
First he says to Yuka IN FRONT OF MINATO “don’t ask me like that, you know I can’t deny anything from you when you ask me like that” EXCUSE ME SIR IN FRONT OF YOUR BOYFRIEND?
It’s not about basic human relationships here. I understand in Japanese culture you have to be somehow and ass kisser if you want to climb the ladder. But Shizuma GOES OUT OF HIS WAY to please people leaving Minato hanging and breaking his promises over and over and over again.
Minato is trying so hard to cool down and act accordingly and putting his trauma behind. And Shizuma does nothing but give him more reasons to have insecurities.
I know they love each other. But I need a character to makes it even to Shizuma and makes him understand what’s at stake here. I want to see him struggle and fight for Minato.
