I think Dan is just doing this as a way to cope. A coping mechanism and ways to hurt himself. I mean it's kind of obvious from how he acted last panel. I get the appeal in "toxic man changing into a better man with the help of his partner" kind of thing but the way Jaekyung acted and behaved in this chapter was way out of line already. Disrespecting his boundaries, ignoring his wishes, pushing himself to Dan, and using Dan as only a means to regain his title which is abso-fucking-lutely, utterly bullshit. And you what's worse? He got fucking hard even after hearing those painful words from Dan just after seeing his naked body. Dude that kind of behavior is utterly scummy and low ╮(￣▽￣)╭

This started as "just-your-typical-Highschool" webtoon with your typical "mc-being-bullied" trope but with a little twist of suddenly having a 2nd body that has all the features you wanted to have the embodiment of perfection is what I interpreted as.
