I like the premise so I'll just take things as they are and be willfully blind to the sht that irks me lol. I really like nation building so even though the focus is more on the angst and romance, I'll still scarf it down. It's just kinda annoying how mc is supposed to be the King of the top empire but so far he's been at the mercy of the Grand Duke. I get that he's sorry that he abandoned them but c'mon now. And how did he even fall in love with him, he's so mean to him! Anyways, I hope we get to see him being badass. I know he's more of the support type of leader but I'll like mc more if he can stand on his own and not rely on his vassals. He's too damsel in distress like for me lmao
