I honestly wanted to know the ending for Xiao Chen, the third wheel. He did Zhishu wrong but he dedicated himself to someone at such a young age. His life does not necessarily compensate for all that has been done and lost. It would take time and effort but he can start to collect himself and make up for the time and love he lost for himself.
