It’s a little confusing but the gist of is the while Conrad and them were investigating something they did something there weren’t supposed to do I guess so then the woman that looks like his mom came up there to talk to him and basically say he is off the investigation but he doesn’t care and is doing what he wants anyway. So then the person you tried to fight Fabian in the their apartment was sent back up there ad basically a 24-7 security. So now no one can leave there without permission from him, and Conrad is like the only person who can’t leave at all not even with permission. Fabian has to go to school still so he has permission to leave but he need someone to accompany him for other reason, so that’s why he and Brian leave everyday. Everyone who was in that room all know and are still working on the investigation, but they didn’t tell Fabian and he just found out this chapter.
