She's a sensitive child that grew up in a dysfunctional home. Her actions and reasoning is pretty normal for a kid who doesn't know any better and has been walking on eggshells around her family since she started to have a thought of her own. She's stupid in an adults POV, but to her that's on survival mode, she thought nothing was wrong with it. There's was no malice in her yet, only she was yet to understand the world she's living in, and it should be the sorry-excuse-of-adults surrounding her's fault.
