Though I don't understand why the mother did that to her own daughter, we still don't know if it's true.
If it's true, then she's the worst mother. The father and mother got married because of interest, and I understand she and him don't love each other, but they had a daughter, and she gave birth to her.
And I also understand if she got remarried after all the father was gone for many years. But to think she would sell her daughter for her and her son. It's like nothing to her.
