Probably because the man is the one with power in this situation. The wife is generally an arranged marriage so her families status or wealth can surpass her personal looks and personality or lack thereof. Rich kids are often spoiled and given a feedback loop making them believe they are worth more. Plus kids tend to lash out at the things or people their parents react badly to. History has given us the tropes since they are based off of what came before. Are they shitty? For sure. But they are common tropes because they read well to the most amount of people. It's why tele novelas and other daytime dramas have a dedicated viewership.

The only remarkable chapter is that she kidnapped a designer that will make his mark to history in the original story and forced him to design her dress in a ball. Then against his better judgement he still did. Theen, at the ball after he was released, he begged FL to kidnap him again so he can make more dresses for her.

It's a straight reincarnation villainess japanese manga. The ML is her husband but in the OG story, he cheated on her with the OGFL's mother and have a daughter and the she is the OG FL.
Her daughter on the other hand became the OG villainess. So yeah, she's the mother of the OG villainess so she wanted to get away from the ML so as not to have a child only for the child to suffer.
