Probably because the man is the one with power in this situation. The wife is generally an arranged marriage so her families status or wealth can surpass her personal looks and personality or lack thereof. Rich kids are often spoiled and given a feedback loop making them believe they are worth more. Plus kids tend to lash out at the things or people their parents react badly to. History has given us the tropes since they are based off of what came before. Are they shitty? For sure. But they are common tropes because they read well to the most amount of people. It's why tele novelas and other daytime dramas have a dedicated viewership.

Well, based on the current updates, it's a made up life— wherein the FL's side characters are to love and cherish her, like unconditionally. It's a fantasy of the creator of the FL's world that was created to fulfill her desire or dream life. So favoritism is the outcome lol. I was quite conflicted about this plot because doesn't it mean all of those feelings and care are fake? But idk too since it's more or less how every world are if we're really created by (a) God.
Real, i dropped this long before because of this reason :3 i just read the 3 latest chapter to see anything different and i should read it again, but lol it didnt. They all love her unconditionally to the point it feels fake for me as a reader.
I love how it feeling fake is part of the plot itself, especially with charne questioning why everyone is compelled to love MC, but doesn't care cuz she's loveable anyway
