i saw it coming a mile away when the coyote made its appearance but i was still hoping for a happier ending.

todd said he never loved anyone as much as dennis and i wished he was honest. i wish he fought against his instincts or fate, whatever it is that makes him do what he does, just because he truly loved dennis. i wanted to see him grapple with his inhuman nature and his feelings.

in the end that's not how the story went and it makes me wonder if he even meant the things he said, if he's even capable of feeling those things. was it one-sided the entire time? it makes me wonder just how REAL he is. is he just an illusion made to trick dennis into sin? is he a representation of the desires he wouldn't normally give into? i guess i was also swayed by his tricks.
