i know that kim dan is dumb af (i literally screamed when he said he was falling for jaekyung. that horse), but some of y'all are not understanding thay this dude has been living in the most shittiest hell for his whole life.
of course he's gonna fall for someone that shows him even a speck of kindness.
add that to the fact that jaekyung is literally manipulative to dan too – bc who tf says y'all are just having sex for transactions and visits their famioy the next day, make it make sensee (plus, his "possessiveness" too???? like????)
i've said this before and i'll say it again, y'all wanna talk about mental health issues but cherry pick when it comes to how people cope with them.
