Like I understand that he has this crazy anxiety, but at this point all you're doing is causing harm to the ml. You dont want a public relationship and are okay saying that you're single in front of your bf yet you get insecure when other people misinterpret the ml friendships with women.

Also, if your bf is texting you to call him and that he misses you, the least you can do is respond to his text even if it is just to say, "hey im in the bus, i miss you too, ill call you when i get off." Instead, you end up texting a group chat, totally ignoring the ml feelings and longing.

The healthiest thing the mc can do is just break up. If Mc really loved the ml he would work on himself, go to therapy or just separate himself from the relationship until he his ready to face his fears. And im not saying he should just break up without explaining or just ghosting him. He should at least have the balls to sit down with the ml and communicate the reasons for the break up.

I don't understand why as a parent you would only give your blessing to a marriage if they complete your condition of selling 10 million copies. Like yes, there's encouragement but at the end of the day, it's telling about his relationship with his family.

Like from what I read, when they start to have problems sae runs away and avoids akihito, even tho akihito is consistently trying to communicate. Akihito is doing all the pursuing as well, so why is he the problem, when sae is not communicating?

I get the whole "well akihito doesn't understand the complexities of a gay man struggling to date a straight man," but isn't that just a way to shift all the blame onto akihito? You could very well flip it and say that sae doesn't understand how commitment works when a straight man dates another person. Which sounds ridiculous, right?

All in all, the issue here is communication. Sae lacks communication (which we have seen thru his avoididant tendencies) and I guess akihito can try to constantly reassure him, but again sae would have to open up and tell him about what he feels insecure about so that akihito can understand and change how he acts.

I don't think that akihito is all to blame, I think both are.
