I feel exactly the same way... The story actually had meaning, or at least we were heading somewhere, with Jian Yi’s supposed disappearance, Mo’s parents’ restaurant (I believe ?) being ravaged (and his father in prison), He Tian’s missing mother, and so many other things… But now, with this time skip, it feels more like a series of “extras.” Personally, I don’t really see where it’s going anymore, and it seems to revolve mostly around fan service. I feel like now it’s mostly just drawn to be aesthetic, you know what I mean? The characters kinda lost their depth to them.
Every since the time skip, suddenly for me, everything has made no sense, it's like it doesn't have it's true meaning no more..
