tbh this is like a sweet read, and i mainly stayed bc i like to read about down bad husbands. if yall are debating, it's nice but it's really not all that interesting. nadia is sheltered af and doesn't ever really get a "wake up call" she does get better and grow but she is very much an innocent fl (which isn't a bad thing, just not most ppls preferences). the only scene she rly pmo in was (spoilers ahead)
when james was holding her wrist and all she could think was "should i scream" like kick his balls and run.
anyways i do think this is relatively realistic and is kinda bridgerton esq, so read if you want. however I WANT SIDE STORIES WITH ANDERSON (her brother) AND THE PRINCE. the first interaction was GAY and lowk had more chemistry than the main couple. free them ik they are kissing
"ml is crazy" "fl trained him" yall, they say it in the title. what do you think yandere means? have none of you read yandere stories before? i think part of the issue is loads of stories not following through with what the title says, however the story was always gonna be a big red flag. for what it was (a yandere story) it was pretty enjoyable
i got about halfway through it and then skipped to the last chapter but everything is just so good and so bad at the same time. like the mc didn't even try beyond saying "i don't like ben" to get her mom to attempt to see her dad (i initially thought it could be a money issue but the priest got there very easily).
if mcs dad had actually like visited his wife after coming back to reality they also could've lived together.
while i liked the dame her character was weirdly inconsistent (like one ch she's says she hopes mc dislikes her then the next she isn't). and this isn't the dames fault but assuming your lover was alive were you just going to make her your mistress or???? also there is def other ways to give her power than to give the dame a title esp if you weren't gonna have kids and keep inheritances separate
the thing that kinda just put me off the most was the weird religious allegories. like you come out swinging that you murdered a bunch of people for not following your religion around ch 15/20ish and we are supposed to think yall are decent people? also it was mentioned like every other chapter which im not a fan of in general in fantasy novels, but i could deal. however they just kept mentioning the genocide of the pagans with it
anyways i was expecting more from this due to the art but its just mid if that
i've been thinking this for a couple of chapters but how do you live in a world where men can get pregnant and women can impregnate and you're still homophobic (the parents) so random
nah i mean even in previous chapters where they completely insisted that he should get with a female alpha to have a kid, they did this like a lot, now it could be he just didn't say he was interested in both(?? not 100% if he does like women or not) but they only being for mlw seems like we are somehow getting a coming out/acceptance type plot in an omegaverse story lol

do think the fml was selfish? yeah but i also think she mentally broke down/went manic. after getting abused for years you get told you are gonna die in 3 months? yeah i'd also go crazy too, she also tried to fix her past mistakes the MOMENT she realized she wasn't doomed for death. i understand the dislike but lord yall are overlooking the clear background info given, only thing i dislike is how much power the workers had/how much they disliked her. like yeah you can hate someone, but that's your boss / bosses gf you do have to attend to her
