Omg and don’t get me started with that family dinner RIGHT AFTER THE SURGERY?? The first thing the father said to MC is just him COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW LATE THEY WERE like geez AS IF MC WASN’T GOING THROUGH SO MUCH the father just had to vent about his big world problems.

AND THE SEAWEED SOUP??? SUCH A SHALLOW MOVE ON THE MOTHERS PART like she knows the traumatic process of losing a child yet she’s been the most insensitive person throughout this process! Pointing out the seaweed soup as if it’s not culturally known in Korea to be eaten by mothers to celebrate CHILDBIRTH

Anyways, thank you for whoever read this long stupid emotional trainwreck of a rant. I just really needed to get this off my chest bc I've been crying nonstop. I had to take a breather before reading that dinner chapter, especially because I'm just very sensitive with this topic in general. Feel free to share your take on that chapter.
