I'm not the op, but the way i interpret it is that it's a smartphone that has the game thus her ability to manipulate them, but as the other comment said, she(Yvonne)probably isn't familiar with the hard mode, this is because the hard mode was where the Penelope had to try to get the affection, not the og Penelope (in this case Yvonne)

Page 7 on the 169 chapter. We saw the mirror up close. I can be wrong but that looks like the screen of a phone. Like a long rectangle with a top corner missing.
From what I remember, we never saw a clearer image of the mirror.

So the first part of the story is moraly difficult to handle but i continued the story (because the smut is perfect) and damn! The second part go on caracter developpement and that's gorgeous! The third part is actually the best and just for this part, you should read this. Their relashionship evoled in a way I like way to much and their personality either.
Oh and see the drawind evolved so beautiful is absolutely magnificient.
I really love it too, the author did do research when writing the story (i hate when authors write stories without research the term or situation they gonna use). The art did evolve for the better. And the character development are chef kisssss
