Well I'm not excusing how Chanwoo treated all the girls before, but I do understand now why he acted like that towards the stalker chic and at first brushed everything off as "ok"... He was groomed and manipulated by that bitch for who knows how many years!
Y'all should maybe read Ido's POV. From what I know, it's also heartbreaking. I agree that it didn't justify the rape or the forced bonding, because he was just hurt and taking revenge. But I also know that Ido did fall for and just didn't go about it the right way. There was just a loft miscommunication from both parts.
In the 2nd time line, he tried to rectify everything that he and everyone else did wrong to Sejin. A lot of people think there's no repenting on Ido's side or that he doesn't deserve a 2nd chance, but then y'all are the same that watch the same story in another work and enjoy it, cause the only difference is that MC didn't take their life.
I don't think he just tried to make everything good, but in fact, tried to let him go and for Sejin to start a new life. Sejin wanting to be together is what led to where he is now in the present, and the reason that when they bonded he got all his memories. He tried to know why Ido showed him love and then pushed him away...
I also think that even if I wasn't the cause of somebody's hurt, I wouldn't want them to relieve it, so even though I also don't justify Ido's omission of the truth (of their previous life), I understand why he did it.
The facts are that Ido did try to get him out of his family and for him to start fresh. I don't think that just comes from regret. It's fueled by it, yeah, but this time, there's also genuine love. Because what he did in the past obviously wasn't it.
And why advocate for only "some people" to have a redemption arc?
Does anyone have any similar recommendations where one of them has some sort of disability, but they just understand each other in this level?

Chapter 89= PAIN
Literally made me cried even though I already knew what was gonna happen
Well written. I loved the plot! It covers so many interesting topics and the angst, obsession, growth and love are so well depicted!
I loved the parent's stories and how they're love language is cakes to the point that their confession was cake talk.
The whole mom thing makes sense cause if I remember correctly, from the beginning they had established she married for the wealth and status, to "keep the lineage going ", but the aunt had been disgraced or shunned, because she left everything to marry a guy that was an athlete or something... So not only Tae Lee Seob looks like the aunt, but is like her in that sense too. I think that's why the cousin was taking pity on him and made the marriage comment in his favor, still knowing well the mom's reaction. Obviously the cousin maybe did thought the same at some point, but then he fell in love, so I guess that's why he was hard on the FL on the earlier episode, cause he knew FL & ML were in love with each other and we're gonna have a hard time. The sad part is, knowing her, she would sacrifice everything for him, cause like other ppl mentioned, she already felt like she wasn't part of his world bad basically he was too much for her. So there's gonna be a lot of angst coming!
Finally!! We've been fed the sweetest cake!! We got to see the parents story that we so desperately wanted!!
Seeing Tsumugui papa's proud smiling face was "it" in this chapter!
We loved this two matching each other's freaks and got serve deliciousness on a platter for then that platter to be taken from us and left starving... We knew what we were getting into, got lulled into fake comfort, and forgot what the original plot was.
I still want to read and I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a lot of pain and devastation, but still, looking forward to the growth in the middle of events that bring out the beast and worst in humanity.

Does that mean that another personality met MC when he was little and warned them about how to stay alive, before he met Glasses Mugo? I always thought it was a family member or something... And I don't understand if they were all actually out at the same time or if it was a hallucination induced by pheromone or even something more complicated... Was MC just doing it with only one or were they actually two? Was it them physically there or was one of them an actual serpent? Cause we already saw glimps of that when Jerk Mugo (who definitely needs a new nickname) was in his rut.
I mean smex was hot, but I do hope that going forward they focus on plot more, cause cliffhangers are better when you actually understand what the heck is going on or at least enough to draw your own conclusions... Like you dropped a bomb and leave them hanging, but we were just left more confused.
Did that fourth one really appeared at the end talking to Glasses Mugo or was it in his mind? He looked like the original one? As in the one from the flashbacks. At least he's dressed the same way. And obviously we don't know the whole story yet, but he was the one that loved MC before he died and was reincarnated? And the one that went through the trauma that created the curren Mugo(s)...
I hope we don't have to wait more than six months for S2 and that they explain all this well, cause I've read manhwas that introduce a lot of stuff like this, raise questions and then skip to another part and create a plot hole. I've read other works from the author though and they're really good so I don't think that'll be the case.
Anyway, in conclusion I loved S1, didn't love the season finale, but still looking forward to more!

Damn... I knew that there was gonna happen something soon... I mean we kinda forgot this is supposed to be a post apocalyptic zombie world, but I feel so sorry for that kid that was left without a father... And that father that was just doing what a father does... Like couldn't they cut the hands and let him live? Situations like this either bring the best or the worst out of you.
It was sad to see Teacher's eyes just lose their light. Let's see how their relationship unfolds from now on when they both clearly have feelings for each other.
One of the rare times were the MC defends himself and puts somebody in their place... Most times they go along with the extortion, so it's refreshing! And that subae is such a entitled manipulative prick! Wait until he catches these! (โฌู`็ฟยดู)
