Bear with me as I don't remember much, the mc is a blonde woman and the ml is a black haired duke (not quite sure on the duke part but he definitely held a title), and the setting was historical fantasy. The story begins with the mc about to be buried with her dead owner (a decrepit old man who forced her into becoming his mistress by taking away her daughter after her husband dies), and just before she is a out to be buried alive the ml comes and asks for the mc in exchange for a debt that the old man's family owed him. They obliged, and then the duke takes the woman to his fief and gives her a cottage to live in for herself. The duke has many mistresses in his harem, but they're actually his soldiers who act as mistresses so that they won't be suspected. In addition to this I remember that the mc has a bit of holy power and goes around helping the duke when she can, and then later down the lines its revealed that mcs daughter is still alive.

So the premise of the story was that the mc uke and other random people get dragged into the world of a video game that they used to play where the purpose of the game was to rise your own individual kingdoms. The mc's race in the game is very similar to that of an angel and so are the races of his people. The original reason why he quit the game was because he confessed to the duke of his empire but the game manipulated him into thinking that the duke had rejected him
