i think the reason why a lot of people dislike the ML for being a ‘pushover’ is because there aren’t many webtoons that depict this realistic of a reaction when being freshly broken up with. especially showing this trait within a man. it seems very annoying, but a lot of people go through this and i appreciate the author for actually showcasing this vulnerable and kinda embarrassing side to the ML. the guy is trying his best considering they were together for a long time ╥﹏╥
Yeah i think those people annoyed just see him as a male lead and not an actual character yk. Like they want him to be perfect and only have eyes for the mc which, bitch like me too but, this is a story that's going out of its way to tell the story of two characters.
He's not just an ice cold double door fridge who only exists for the mc, he has a past and actual personality.
For romances i usually wouldn't touch a plot with a male lead in love with his ex with a ten foot pole but I just feel so bad for him.

When ymir made the contract with the devil to get her titan powers she met the devil in a large tree. The tree in the last page is where Eren’s remains are, Eren is also the last titan. So what if the kid enters the tree and makes a contract with Eren? Making the cycle repeat itself.
