But uh…lemme let this build up once more cuz idk where the story going rn
Honestly I think the casino/gambling panels are just metaphorical, in Taehwa's mind he was just gonna sit back and watch from afar but Mincheol wasn't appreciative of Haesoo so Taehwa's mindset is he'll take him for everything he's got. Micheol had her feelings, his spot as her husband, their home together, her body. Now he lost it all to Taehwa on a gamble that Haesoo would forgive and forget his cheating.

I also see it the casino panel as something similar to this! It shows how much effort Taeha is giving to Haesoo even if she does not notice. It emphasises how ungrateful and useless Mincheol is cuz he can’t even do the bare minimum and appreciate her efforts for him. While Taeha is letting her sleep at work, pay for all the rooms etc. So the chips are him putting in all his efforts and resources for her (the doll).

I figured it would be her especially after that hospital scene. And she kept popping up too so. But i thought it would take longer than idk-1 chap for him to realize any type of feelings for her. And i also thought they would get together like….idk maybe…i mean he is saying they will go public when she gets back. And i mean the art is beautiful as always. Just felt like something was missing ig? Nah, I too am ace and still feel iffy about this romance too. Not because I didn't know she was going to end up being the FL, since, as most other comments have pointed out, it was kinda obvious ever since the theatre and hospital scenes. But. It still doesn't really sit well with me considering how rushed this confessions looks like (not to mention the fact that he kinda is way older than her... at least, mentally) and how, before this last chapters, his sole focus has always been about getting better at work.

I don't claim to be a romance expert (though I could be, given the amount of romance books and mangas I've read already), but I 100% agree with the shared sentiment that this pairing ought to have sailed AFTER the FL came back from USA. Once, you know, she had the chance to grow into a great actress or at least reach a level in the industry that didn't left her in a position where MC's incredible skills and reputations would shadow her own. But I agree, that this will probably fizzle into nothing because FL is only used as a plot-driven support. She just comes out whenever the MC needs to get out of a professional dump or needs to shine and then, she peaces out of the scene again. ^^;
