I feel like there is a big misunderstanding going on between them, like what the maid said that the ml actually bought a lot of dresses but the fl didn't receive any. I feel like this is the type where the ml actually was doing all those because of his mindset to work hard and earn money etc so that the fl could live comfortably and he doesn't understand the fl for wearing dull thing or why she lives like that but it's also the ml's fault for neglecting her that's why i think they have this misunderstanding.
