I hate redemption arcs alot in Bl because most of the stuff they’ve done isn’t redeemable in the slightest.
Abuse, rape SA etc none of this stuff is redeemable yet most Yaoi authors & fans act like it is and they just completely gloss over everything that happened beforehand, it’s just weird and I hate it.
