I’m honestly so mad at myself
When it was around chapter 30 because I was way too invested in this manhwa and couldn’t wait so I dropped it
And till now… my heart was still so stuck on it that I went and threw myself back into the same hole again.
God knows how many weeks I’ll have to suffer, waiting for updates now..
Seriously what kind of idiot jumps back into the same hole they barely managed to crawl out of before?

It was absolutely amazing and completely new to me.
I still can’t believe what I read
and I also still can’t believe I saw mermussy

I came here for the smut
AND WOW
That was really mesmerizing

i waited such a long time to read this manhwa because even from the first couple of chapters the art completely caught my eye
but sadly it only took about ten chapters for me to feel totally disappointed and lose interest
i tried a few times to read it little by little but it just didn’t work
i couldn’t even handle one chapter a day
i really couldn’t get into the story
i can’t say it was bad because i never felt connected to it enough to even have an opinion
but you know ...when you expect a story with such beautiful art to have a good plot too and end up getting only good art with a weak story it’s just disappointing
i can enjoy pretty much any story that’s all smut but this one couldn’t even do that for me

I have so many things to say about this manhwa
but the first thing I wanna mention is that this was one of my best reads of 2025

When I first picked it up I chose it randomly
but the reviews I saw about it were honestly terrible
everyone kept saying it was mid or just plain bad
and then I read it and OH MY GOD
once again it proved to me that the most hated stories are exactly the ones that end up enchanting me the most

yeah, this story would seem bad if you go into it without understanding some basic psychology
because it’s actually really deep and not easy to read
if you can’t feel that depth, it might just look like 66 chapters full of crazy, unstable, immature characters hurting each other nonstop

1 < The most striking thing for me was how much the author emphasized the importance of childhood
and how the smallest events during that time can shape who you become as an adult
the flashbacks were perfectly placed and you could clearly see how each one connected to something happening in the present
I’m pretty sure the author either has a psychology background or did some serious research

2 < The MC and ML didn’t just fall in love randomly and I loved that so much
their relationship didn’t form just because time passed
the way Minjae played the “savior” role for Taeyoung hit me deeply
I could really understand the reason behind his obsession and all the sacrifices he made — it totally made sense
and I loved how the author didn’t make Minjae fall in love just because Taeyoung helped him with revenge or chased after him
the way Taeyoung touched Minjae’s inner child and filled the empty space left by his family was beautifully portrayed
also I’m honestly in love with Minjae as a character
this boy tried so hard to be a good person even after all the trauma
even as an adult, with all his mistakes, a part of him still wanted to stay good
he’s so precious to me, I just wanna hold him in my heart and protect him

3 < Unlike most comments here, I wasn’t disappointed that the revenge didn’t actually happen
because it was clear that revenge was never the real goal
Minjae just wanted to satisfy that bright side of himself
he thought revenge would bring him peace, but he realized what he truly needed wasn’t revenge — and Taeyoung gave him exactly that

4 < This manhwa was honestly something extraordinary
I’ll definitely reread it again and again
writing a story like this could only come from a genius
I can’t even recommend it to everyone, because if you don’t have some basic understanding of psychology or don’t read it with that mindset, it might not seem that great
but if you do read it from that perspective, you’ll see how incredible it is
a beautifully written masterpiece — I swear I wish I could go shake the author’s hand and thank them in person

i honestly don’t even know what to say about this manhwa
i wasn’t expecting it to be this different at all
i’ve been reading manhwas for years but this one was truly something else for me
i’ll always try not to forget how amazing it was
to be honest in the middle of the story i kind of got bored because there were too many flashbacks
but in the second half when i realized that so many parts were actually misunderstandings and all the plot twists started to unfold i just had to drop everything and keep reading to the end
it was incredible and i’m sure i’d recommend it to anyone no matter their taste

i’m glad i was born in a generation where i can read yaoi stories where the characters who are insanely in love with each other get separated for years
the reason i keep living is so i can read stories like that

reading this manhwa was honestly fun but no matter how fun or good it was it just didn’t click with me
when the first main couple story ended i completely dropped it and closed the tab
there were so many things the author could have explored but just ignored
for example since the characters were half human half dog it could’ve been so much more interesting if their dog side actually showed up in the story sometimes
but it was only mentioned by name and we never really saw anything
it had a lot of potential but overall it was still kind of fun

reading this manhwa was one of the best coincidences in my life
i just searched the swimming tag and it was the first one i read
at first i thought it was a sports story but only a tiny part was about swimming
after a few chapters i completely forgot what i was even looking for
everything about it was amazing the characters the writing everything
i love it so much i keep rereading my bookmarks so i never forget any part of it

I actually really liked the manhwa
the art style was beautiful and it had so many good points but what really bothered me was how everything started rushing after a certain point
It felt like the author was in a hurry or something and I just don’t enjoy stories that feel rushed
