Berrie created a topic of Age of arrogance

eh, I'm a hater. I prefer it the original way. Their gender played into their characterization tbh

Berrie created a topic of The Problematic Prince

I'm not saying she needs a man or would be happy with one necessarily, but goddam, there's a part of me that wishes that there was a promising second male lead in this series. someone who could show her what love actually looks like and fulfill all the desires and fantasies she had about love. this is just too sad :(((

say what you want but penelope can be pretty ruthless when she wants to be

Berrie created a topic of I Am The Villain

yo i abandoned this some 30-40 chapters ago because the plot just seemed so superficial and forced. does it get any better, should I pick it up again?

please don't misunderstand please don't misunderstand please don't misunderstand please don't misunderstand please don't misunderstand

Berrie created a topic of The Problematic Prince

I was randomly reminded of how colorful and full of life Erna used to be (remember her crazy hats?) and now she's a shell of who she used to be. I hate this

Berrie created a topic of The Selfish Romance

so he's aromantic but not asexual?.... it's not a bad thing since each person is wired differently, but it doesn't seem to be what yoomin wants or needs tbh

does anyone know what the individual colors above the men's heads mean?

Berrie created a topic of Betrayal of Dignity

wait that's it? with so much build up in the last few chapters, the author definitely could've gone deeper into the lore and explored more. the last chapter almost feels like the author got bored of their own story and wanted to quickly finish it off or smth. a shame, because the story really was pretty good up until this point and could've benefitted from a more fleshed-out ending

Berrie created a topic of The Problematic Prince

literally waiting for the news article(?) about gladys to publish and see how stupid louise reacts to the revelation. AND I HOPE ERNA REJECTS HER APOLOGIES AND MAKES HER WORK FOR FORGIVENESS (I know she won't do that because she's too kind and empathetic, but i still hope)

Berrie created a topic of Cry, or Better Yet, Beg

I haven't read the novel but I hope Leila ends up being the daughter of someone important so she can stick it to all of the "nobles". Although on the other hand, I kind of like the fact that she's a true Cinderella

Erina, ditch this emperor guy and go for sir knight!!

Berrie created a topic of College Student Empress

I'm slow, someone explain– I thought the reason the empress didn't punish the consorts was because she couldn't figure out who was in the right. So she tried to be charitable by calling the consorts out but not outright punishing them. Even the empress's lead maid was glad she didn't punish them. So what's the revelation the empress had at the end? I'm sure she would've already known that if she wanted to punish those consorts, she could've– I mean, it's not like the this is her first clash with them? Someone smarter than me please help me out

love that someone is calling out bjorn's bad behavior. it's a relief that erna has SOMEONE on her side

Berrie created a topic of I Am The Villain

I was really drawn to this story initially bc it seemed like it had a lot of potential and the art was super pretty. but tbh, in recent chapters, it seriously feels like the author wrote the plot in a closet with the lights switched off

ngl in the earlier chapters, I feared that the grand duchess would also become an obstacle for the empress. so glad that she turned out to be a wholesome character. her love story is really adorable too (⌒▽⌒)

very Collin and Penelope coded lol

Berrie created a topic of If You Wish for My Despair

I mean if you're still here 95 chapters later crying foul because it wasn't a happy story...that's on you. For people that cannot tolerate all the disgusting stuff that happened, you should've been gone like 5 chapters in. Anyone who's made it to this point should know that this story was never meant to be glorified or suddenly turned into a romance. I think the author left it at a good point-- he/she did not excuse all the abuse and sins they inflicted on each other, but also gave one last panel at the very end to suggest that the ML had a chance to redo his past mistakes with a version of the FL that did not experience or remember an alternate abusive and depressing life. Given the premise, it managed to end on a hopeful note, which is more than we could've asked for with how tragic the entire tale was start to finish. Like I said, anyone triggered after reading 95 chapters, you're playing yourself since you knew it was a shit show from the beginning and knew a redemption arc was impossible

holy heck even chatgpt can translate better than what I just read. Can someone upload better translations please??
