both the dad and the uncle are guilty of wronging haejons mother but i trust the uncle more. the uncle never guilt-tripped haejon and the uncle always made sure haejon had what he wanted. siblings not being close as adults isn’t to uncommon so the uncle not being in haejon’s life for so long is valid but the father not being there is odd and his father coming back when the mom is gone is a red flag
