When the story just started, I kinda disliked FL because it looked like she was whining when MC killed someone who attacked him. I thought, "isn't that self-defense? Finally, a hero that doesn't have to be held back needlessly."
But throughout the story, FL adapted and changed. She really tried, but honestly, she was dealt a pretty bad hands in life several times. I came to like her a bit (although, I like his mom the best still).
