I had a bigass 68 webtoons update on my notification page today so i dont remember all of them very well but i usually figure it out while reading.. gun to my head i could not remember what the hell was this story about, my mind went blank and i was confused about what the hell was up with this concept had to reread the entire thing
I immediately knew the site was down because of what happened on twitter... yes the author was crashing bad and people were right to be angry about it but GOD! How old are you guys that you don't know how pirate don't post where the fuck you get illegal chapters from!!
You know how nasty some readers are, especially on twitter, they tag the author on the post to show them and go "look author-nim im better than them i read legally and these poor ass hoes dont". That's the entire reason why they post screenshots of the chapters they paid for and they even WATERMARK THEM LMAO. Its all their sense of superiority. I myself have bought chapters, mostly raws, of my favorite webtoons to support the authors yet I don't go around flaunting them with a fuckass watermark of my username lmao
While it would be best to not post screenshots, i get it that you cant really tell people to not do that and I personally think its a good way to have fun, share and let your fav webtoon get some recognition. But please.. when you see that your post of a screenshot of an illegal translation is going viral it seems common sense to think that its time to delete it!
why are people saying this is identical to nerd project? Legit the only things they have in common are the university and western setting but there are thousands of webtoon with the exact same setting is it the gloomy x popular pair? It's like the oldest trope in the book... Is the "gloomy guy is actually super handsome behind those fake glasses"? it's such a common and old ass trope as well, super corny too
