Premise was interesting but the whole thing is just...bad. The ml wasn't the best, sure. But the uke beating him up thought he wasn't sure it was him? It's not even about being top or bottom in bed, the fact that he, an S-class esper, beating tf out of his guide who never fought back? Tf. And he never apologised. I can't believe it was swept under the rug. Ml may have been an asshole in the past but he seemed to have truly tried to change. The mc on the other hand was just not it.
Someone said ol this was short and a satisfying read for any mood. No. It just made my mood fcked.
Changed ? Coercing sexual favor while on duty ? Refusing guiding while being aware that Esper will get hurt the next day without healing ?
I'm not saying esper was 100% right to hurt him, but let not downplay what he did.
He actually got the beating he deserved in high school ..... This was so fucked up to purposely beat people to isolate someone.
He did not even got beat the amount he deserved, it's quite easy to guess the esper did not use his esper strengh. The guide would be dead if he did.
It's unfortunate. Had I read this when I was 12, I would have loved it. I don't necessarily mean that as a diss. But there are some works that I know that if I read it at a different, I would enjoy unlike the present. Same can be said with Twilight. Never saw or read it when I was younger but I am sure I would have been down bad for it. Tastes change, that's all.
