Perhaps it's easy to view the uke as toxic and crazy. The former, I agree. The latter, I disagree. This is the difficulty of being in the same industry and you're both competitive. All the more in their case where one seems to be naturally gifted or is working hard and gets what worked hard for while the other also works his ass off yet doesn't seem to ever be rewarded. When it is rewarded, it seems as though he only ever succeeded because of the other. It's difficult. Though I remember seeing a (also gay) couple say that it's alright since regardless the pay still reaches home. While true, some people.are, again, just very competitive and the issue sometimes isnt really the pay but the ego. Regardless, it is toxic. I think it was right that they took some time apart.
