But both could be right at the same time, that she's a victim (after all she fell for mincheols lies) and as bad as mincheol (baby trapping, not listening to her friends etc.).
But I agree more with you than the victim thing.
She naive, BUT definitely a victim of Mincheol. Cuz ch.17 when she found out he had a wife, she got mad and walked away from him. But in ch. 21 Mincheol managed to get her to believe Na Haesoo was a crazy ex-wife whose house he was just living in.
So Ari doesn't know she's f*cking an older man in front of his "wife". She was made to believe they were already broken up.
For the baby trapping, it's dumb of her, but it's something she believes Mincheol really really wants, because of what he told her about wanting a child who looked like their mother (but he was referring to Na Haesoo when he said that).

this couldve been such a good story if there werent so many plot holes. majorly lame shit. like yeah obvi her dad was involved but to just brush in under the rug was pointless. & to make it so the mom didnt have a single clue. please. like so much of the ending sucked for no reason other than rushing it so the romance trope could be made. didnt even feel like the peds/bad guys faced justice

I’d say he’s always been made to feel like a loser therefore he needs to feel like a “winner” before his match? Like he has the ultimate upper hand and that he’s in full control ? Since he isn’t particularly talented, his Jinx is an irrational attempt at controlling something he knows deep down he can’t control? Maybe that’s why he keeps on telling Dan not to interrupt the flow ? He has the winner diet, the winner penthouse, the winner team but he lacked the winner’s sex ? It is after all an area of his life that isn’t well developed. Or maybe LOL he’s visualising the match in his head as he’s fucking Dan ?? And that’s why he’s so rough ? Because he gets lost in his head ? LMAO each thrust is a punch? Hahaha. Honestly I think his roughness can be attributed to a lack of sex ed. When the gay doctor came to examine Kim Dan he told him to kiss him sometimes and he eventually did. i agree w the upperhand statement. i dont think his dad saying "ill die before you win anything" & actually dying wouldve happened if it didnt have anything to do w it. i think he might feel like he was cursed by him? but i also dont see how it would tie into his sexual life:/. like you said it might have to do w him wanting to control the uncontrollable. therefor the wins. by extension, sex and such. this is a good take & does seem possible. but yeah i do hope she has a good explanation too bc i hope its like more than something so seemingly simple since it kinda did take over his life you know?
