I really love this kind of dynamic, where both characters are strong and independent from each other. I admire how manly and aggressive the uke is, not easily falling in love or giving in to whatever the ML wants.

Yea that's true. I was a little peeved by the fact that one moment he was fine and then the next he practically hated him. I just feel like compared to other toxic MLs, he isn't too bad. Of course that doesn't mean he's good tho.... it's his fault that Eugene has cried and distanced himself from him. Alexis is just projecting his trauma onto Eugene. I didnt meant to condemn the wonky part or anything. Its just that, i felt sorry for the artist for pushing themselves to the point they start losing interest in drawing.
I prefer for the artist to take their time to do things that they love so that their arts doesnt reflect their struggle you know.
