Theory!:
I feel like the reason Akemi hates women is because of (How ever the fuck you say his name)'s wife getting pregnant & dating this man, you see him in chapter 18 when Akemi leaves the hot spring to chat with him. We all know Itome is a yandere, as stated in one of the chapters, idk, he said in a nutshell, he'd do anything to get his way, which Kashima finds aggressive since they were both talking at the time. This leads to, stating back that Akemi is a liar, he doesn't actually love Itome, & is faking his feelings so Itome doesn't snap. Boom
