OK, so I will make it clear. I’m only on chapter 7, so there’s not gonna be any spoilers or anything like that this is my opinion.
The mother obviously has some trauma around being like Poor because of her husband, and she’s forcing her I guess best looking child when in reality they all look the exact same to get married to the Duke to have generational wealth, so she never has to be scared of being in debt or poor or anything like that ever again, but I was really freaked out when she said to her Tatiana well that’s what she’s called currently Tatiana she has said to her “ if I had pride, I would never give birth to you” . which I think is crazy because Tatiana it seems like she’s the third oldest or second oldest no one told you to give birth to five girls. No one told you to give birth period.
Her mother seems like a strong willed woman But the way she uses her children is crazy.
Sidenote, hot take I hate the art style is distracting
This is the second bad thing I had to say about a fantasy love story on this app in a row. I just commented on another one literally five seconds ago ( currently 5:02 ) and I don’t know if that like unlocked part of my brain to show me the truth that these stories low-key sucked I think that’s what happened because this story low-key sucks.
