Idk if this is a controversial opinion, but I don't really think the storyline degraded. Perhaps this is because I knew what to expect- but I never really was that invested in Horus and Seth as a couple, I'm more excited to see how Seth himself develops- which yeah imo he did. The comments about him becoming a "pissbaby uke" and whatnot are downright ignorant, mans is fucking traumatized having emotions is illegal now ig literally how do people expect characters suffering to be "perfect" and what is the standard for this "perfection" anyway? He was still badass and did what he could with his remaining powers.
As for the SA, I actually don't mind it either (yes it sucks but DUH its supposed to) I think it should be broken up more by consensual scenes though. This level of succession of SA scenes feel unbalanced and overwhelming. Horus's lack of sensitivity and self awareness does piss me off at times though and it's not just the SA, but also about Seth caring about Anubis. So far I maintain a neutral-ish stance on Horus, but I'd be lying if he didn't annoy me a bit sometimes he feels childish. But despite that, most characters here are morally grey to some extent so Horus isn't really out of place. I hope this all ends on a good note, damn slowest burn in history lol.

bro THANK YOU i agree with you finally someone who doesn't think seth is a little bitch because he actually has emotions now and isn't as angry and violent as he used to be at the start??? like this man has been through so much then people expect seth to still be a strong "god" who doesn't get fazed by the shit he's been put through like whattt??? and everyone's out to get seth or wants something from him like bro can't catch a break seriously people who don't understand seth's emotions rn are honestly not getting the story

my only issue is i feel like the story is moving SO slowly. the chapters aren’t very long either and given that they come out every 10 days…it just makes it feel like we aren’t going anywhere. like, isis being in a deep sleep/coma where she seems to be plagued by the past and how she treated seth (because she knows she was wrong to lay ALL the blame on him because of what odiaría did to him). i feel like that happened AGES ago and we haven’t gotten a follow up on that or what will happen to her. i was excited to see if she’d come to a realization about the past and maybe move the plot forward, but we haven’t gone back to that.
i know there still IS a plot, and trust me i enjoy the manhwa, it just is very very slow. i don’t even mind the slow burn romance, but the actual plot almost feels like it’s at a standstill. we’ve been dealing with the caravan so much (in the background) that i almost forget about them. i almost didn’t even realize that the caravan attacking right now could be a significant plot point just because i forget how they’re relevant at times.
i do agree though that people are feminizing seth a lot. he is described as beautiful in the story which is obvious, but otherwise he’s still strong in his own right. of course he’d be slimmer and less muscular now that he’s a demigod and has been wandering around the desert without food and water for days/weeks on end. with some few exceptions he’s basically almost human. i don’t think that’s degrading his character, i think that’s just perfectly in line with his punishment in the story, he’s not technically a god anymore ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I also don't think the story's downgraded because we actually saw Seth setting boundaries while refusing to feel ashamed about initiating the kiss, which I think is the most healthily assertive we've ever seen him act, about what he wants and doesn't want, without sounding either too ambivalent or childish, and not to say... a tiny bit... "needlessly" homophobic...? (it wasn't THAT long ago, chapter 111, that Seth said two men loving each other was "disgusting").
HELP I NEVER SAW ANYTHING WITH SUCH A LOW RATING HOW BAD CAN IT BE
