Idk if this is a controversial opinion, but I don't really think the storyline degraded. Perhaps this is because I knew what to expect- but I never really was that invested in Horus and Seth as a couple, I'm more excited to see how Seth himself develops- which yeah imo he did. The comments about him becoming a "pissbaby uke" and whatnot are downright ignorant, mans is fucking traumatized having emotions is illegal now ig literally how do people expect characters suffering to be "perfect" and what is the standard for this "perfection" anyway? He was still badass and did what he could with his remaining powers.
As for the SA, I actually don't mind it either (yes it sucks but DUH its supposed to) I think it should be broken up more by consensual scenes though. This level of succession of SA scenes feel unbalanced and overwhelming. Horus's lack of sensitivity and self awareness does piss me off at times though and it's not just the SA, but also about Seth caring about Anubis. So far I maintain a neutral-ish stance on Horus, but I'd be lying if he didn't annoy me a bit sometimes he feels childish. But despite that, most characters here are morally grey to some extent so Horus isn't really out of place. I hope this all ends on a good note, damn slowest burn in history lol.
