Am I wrong for accidentally leaving my boyfriend on delivered for one hour and 26 minutes before replying, because I’m at school currently? Ok ok to start off my bf and I have been together for about four months now with a few arguments here and there, so today is Friday (obviously) It’s also important to note my boyfriend doesn’t have school today because it’s Easter weekend and he has a three day weekend and I don’t. I’m trying to stick with a new routine of doing my work on time instead of lazing around on my phone
(I claim as I’m writing this in school…(〜￣△￣)〜)
Anyways, today I text my boyfriend the usual goodmorning with a bunch of kisses “MWA MWA MWA” blah blah, and he replies of course and by the time the conversation ends (I assumed it ended..) I told him I was getting ready for school so I kissed him goodbye and a ttyl love you text, I get to school I’m doing my work in my English class (second period because I was completely off my phone during first art class) and I have my earbuds on and listening to TikTok in the background, I wasn’t actively looking at my phone just listening to it because I usually get those Reddit stories on there and if I found a video I liked and recognized the sound I look at my phone screen for like a hot second and repost it, put it back in my pocket and continue my work. as said at the top.. one hour, 26 minutes into my school day my phone falls asleep so I go to turn it on, and I notice there was a notification from my boyfriend so I thought “oh I’ll just reply rn since I have my phone up”
All he said was “I love you” so I responding back “I love you more!!” And I also sent a follow up text “I just want you to know I REALLLYY LOVE YOU SO MUCH” so he responds with “U bum” and “Ur active on tt but it takes u hours to reply :(“
In turn I respond with an apology so he (he kinda does this a LOT) says “mhm sure :/“ so I said I really am sorry. Later he asks why I didn’t respond earlier so I said I’m kinda in school, ok ok lemme just… type out the stuff following up from kinda in school:
I’ll just put B as his text and M standing for me
B:”but u were active on tt”
M: “Yeah, but I had it as a background and was working on schoolwork”
B:”well if u can be in tt can’t u text me back?”
B:”having work didint stop u from doing that

I explain..
M:”doing work, I have TikTok in my earbuds listening to it.”
B:”ur active scrolling on it if u can repost ur not going to have one tt playing for hours”
M:”I have a left hand yk, I can swipe in my pocket”
B:”Then —(pausing because he sent these texts individually bc he does that a lot too)— u can use that hand —— to text me
P3: B:” at the very least —- reply”
I explain to him I didnt get his notifications (I don’t have Siri reading out my things to me because it’s kinda annoying)
B:”and u didint think to check —— until 2 hours later”
So I reiterated I had been doing work and not consciously on my phone doom scrolling.
My bf replies to the “I didn’t get your notification” explanation with:
B:”and u say im not easily forgettable— if u can work — while scrolling on tt — it’s not guna hurt u to take 3 5 min —- to reply”
So I ask him
M:”do you think i stare blank face at my phone on TikTok and constantly checking for messages?”
Which I admit, bit of a jump from me.
B:”no —— I never said that”
I was getting pretty upset atp
M:”it’s kinda obvious (with how past conversation went before) the replies wouldn’t only be for five minutes”
B:”Yeah —— it would have —— if u would have just replied —— and like I said —- no one said u just stared at ur phon”
M:”I know you didn’t. That’s why I said “do you think””
B:”well I don’t think that —

You can't possibly be texting him all the time; that's not healthy .
Boundaries are a thing for a reason.
There is a time for him and a time for yourself.
You're not obligated to cater to him 24/7 just because you have the "time" to be on TikTok.
He should respect your time .
Considering his feelings, though, of course he will feel down. You're making time for TikTok even though you're busy but aren't replying to his messages.
But Couples would make time for each other; they don't invade each other's time.
I completely agree, I just also feel like I don’t have a lot of time to myself because we call every single day, sleep call every night, play games almost every single day and I feel like he gets upset if I ask to play games with my friends once in a while or if I ask to just read for a couple hours ;－.－)

Set boundaries.
There isn't anything wrong with wanting to spend a lot of time with your significant other , but he really needs to respect "your time." Everyone needs time to themselves.

Okay so, with the presidential debate (With our non-American viewers a couple months ago I think our past president Trump got shot and only got hit by the ear.)
Anyways with the debate with Kamala vs. Trump, we see the ear he was shot with, the right ear, but in the debate, it looks perfectly fine? Now I know I’m probably just tweaking but shouldn’t an ear that almost got shot off and was bleeding profusely a couple weeks back still have some scar tissue on it? Or at the very least some stitches?? Idk because recently I saw a TikTok pointing this out, and they even showed a scar from like a couple weeks ago when they got the wound and it still has scar on it.
