I thought so too initially but then seeing the Queen's personality no wonder he doesn't like her.
Also, so far we don't know if the King ever took in a lover. However based on what's shown currently, apparently the King had someone he liked but couldn't be with (most likely politics). Doesn't seem like he physically cheated on the Queen, and didn't seem to have any concubines or any other children (considering FL is 2nd in line to throne after the prince). Also we don't know if both of them were forced into the marriage, or if the Queen forced him into it (an assumption based on the Queen's current obsession level). We don't even know if the King already let her know before marriage that this would be a no love marriage.

Honestly so far, the Queen seems worse to me. The only positive we've seen/heard of about the Queen is from her cousin (2nd ML) who implied the Queen changed after marriage because of love. But The age gap between the Queen and cousin probs means he was a kid before the marriage. (I'm thinking of an age gap because cousin seems around FL's age and the Queen is FL's aunt). Kids may not always see things as they were. The Queen could also have hidden her "bad" side in front of her cute little cousin. Of course, it could also be true that the Queen was truly good before marriage.

One of the biggest fault of the Queen imo is that she looks down on and belittles the commoners and those who are not nobles or are weaker nobles. and it's very obvious. Also she manipulates and uses people and then discards them without a second thought. Plus she seems to mess with FL only because the King favors her. There's literally no other reason (shown so far).

While the King is not a good husband, at least he's a better person and ruler than the Queen.

(Also did the Queen do something to the person the King loved? I was thinking of this based on the way she said "I got rid of one and another came" when she heard the ML's aunt was playing chess with the King)

All I can say is, Villains aren't born, they are made. Even if there's inconsistency in her cousin's statement of her changed because of love, doesn't mean it is not true. I believe the guy is about the same age of the ML not the FL.

Women when they fall in love can do anything but when got hurt will also do anything. Love and Hatred are two sides of the same coin.

I honestly believe if only the Emperor gave the Empress a proper closure. I didn't think they would end up like that. But it seems the Empress is ambitious or his father maybe, that's why the Emperor is wary of her.

I can't blame the Emperor if he can't handle her. It's a skill issue. He should have been careful if he can't even stop her. He should at least didn't provoke her. But him saying she should get a lover too is dumb. I don't know if the Emperor knows she loves him or just didn't care or bother at all. If it's the latter, then he's totally a trash.

If ever, I just wish she gave up on her love with the Emperor so she can finally heal, find peace or have time to love herself. She shouldn't need to beg for trash.

Emperor might be good to those he FAVORS but that doesn't mean he's a good man.

Fr The only flaw that i didn't like about her was that she announced that they're gonna get married without his consent, u can tell that she like to get what she wants, at first i didn't like her for that but yeah she's growing on me lol

I get wut ur saying but i can't agree with wut u said about "business wise she needed to" cus if it was business wise then she should've waited for her partner to decide it together, she can't just announce it without the other party because that will just cause more damage if something goes wrong and it did lol he came back and wanted to break off the engagement now she or he have to announce that they're breaking the engagement off wich will probably damage their image.

That's the point, it's their business, it's partnership, so she can't really decide for the both of them cause one wrong move and they can damage the business, especially since he run away 2 years ago, at that point, since it's only business and if she was desperate then she should've gotten engage with another son of the other company.

But let's admit it, she was interested in him as a person, not business wise and that's why she didn't got engaged to the other sons, she wanted him to come back, that's why she made it public, and that's the flaw that I'm trying to say, she didn't try to consider that maybe he run away because he was having a hard time or something, she only wanted him to come back and get married, doesn't matter his situation.

Thankfully she didn't burst in anger and jealousy when she found out that he have a girlfriend and handled the brother like a boss.

She still hasn't fully grown on me lol but we'll see if she have a character development and be a bad bitch that'll be an ally to our ml and fl, my hatred is focus only on the brothers lmao

I see your point, but I think it's normal for her to develop feelings for her fiance- after all, it was NEVER communicated to her that he would break things off, so she allowed herself to get attached. She gave him his space and time, and when he came back she assumed that he came back fine and ready to start things again where they left off. She didn't imagine that her fiance would come back with another woman he wants to marry... I admit that she was hasty with it, but can you blame her :( at least she didn't say anything and peacefully broke things off, plus she didn't let the brothers get their way and defended him too. I think that's where the difference lies- she's fully grown on me and I think it's actually the MLs fault for being so unclear with her. He didn't even stop to consider the fact that he's engaged- I think he should have cut things off before getting properly involved with FL (after all he still had the means to communicate with her and just chose not to). But I'm not putting all the blame on him either- the situation just turned out that way tbh and the ML did clear it up later. I just wanted to defend the fiance for being so chill and not imposing her feelings on others :)

Ok then, that's ur opinion lol she still hasn't fully grown on me that's why I can't agree on ur point but I guess we'll see in the next few chapters :) i just hope they don't make her a "villainess" or something cus I do see some potential friendship, and I'd like to see them crushing the brothers down.
