If u have read the translator's note somewhere i think it was at the end of the latest chapter they uploaded or in another post. They said something like "I have noticed some people posted reuploads of my translation in tumblr, please take them down. I WILL NOT UPLOAD ANY MORE CHAPTERS UNLESS EVERY SINGLE FCKN ONE OF THEM IS DOWN" now i just stated it like that cus im mad they didnt really say it in that way but who fkcn cares.
Does Mangago even have a way for us to send them questions/suggestions/recommendations or something? I've been looking for a way to contact them hoping that they can be considerate and take down the uploads themselves but i cant even find a way, i dont even know if they gave us their email or any form of contacts. . . .
Ahhh we're doomed. . . .i know all of us wanted to read it so bad, but because of this, the translator wont upload further chapters unless every single reupload is down, and if mangago doesnt take it down, then we wont get to read the rest of the chapters unless the translator changes their mind which is highly impossible, or another translator appears risking their efforts for another incident like this will happen = A =

They can't be too upset due to the fact that they are taking the artist work and uploading it and the artist doesn't make the amount of money they should. If they stop, it's not the end of the world. that's true, i agree. translators agree. but that matter is beyond us cause we all know we're all doing smth illegal. that point is kind of invalid cause we're all aware of that already. there's really no point in pointing who is doing smth illegal or not.
translators are not saying that what they're doing is right. we have renta, tappytoon and lezhin to translate but they still translate for people who aren't able to buy. it's not like they stop people from buying the original work, they encourage it more than anything.
the problem is, if those people who buy the mangas/webtoon they read decide to let the authors know of this site and translators existence, translators are gonna face legal charges.
but you know what i guess people don't really care about what's gonna happen to translators. it's okay i get it. some people don't care as long as they get to read. it's just up to your conscience i guess.

translators are allowed to have control over smth that they put up online. they're allowed to worry about legal issues. they're doing what they're doing for us readers and you're discrediting them like it's so easy to clean and typeset a chapter for our entertainment. you have no right to complain and call them entitled when you're the one who's leeching off of them the most.
It's called the internet. You can't put something out on the internet and expect everyone to be respectful angels. It's a risk you have to take when scanlating something. Everyone won't listen no matter how much you threaten to stop translating etc. It's just not realistic, it's very naive. There will always be a few assholes in the crowd.
And when it comes to morals here: scanlators are in the wrong, we are in the wrong, since the rights belong to the author of the story. It's especially wrong if it's available to buy in english. But since we are all a part of the people who want the scanlators to exist and bring us content, we should respect the scanlators wishes imo (although like I said, this kind of request is naive). Unless you're someone who refuses to read scanlations and wishes to manga sites and scanlation to stop completely, I think you have no right to talk about how entitled we should feel or how the authors feel, 'cuz you're part of the problem lol. Besides, thinking we should respect scanlators wishes because you don't want them stop is not feeling entitled. C'mon.
