This is just a badly written conflict. Why is Byul even protecting his Grandma like he is saying its Hyesung's fault too. Like hello? "You thought of getting rid of me too" is different from being completely abandoned and having a broken childhood with trauma. Instead of feeling bad for his mom he chose to understand the person who hurt his mom. Does hearing his mom's past mistakes of almost leaving him justifies him acting out like that? He is a teenager not an elementary kid. Again he was raised full of love unlike other households. I don't understand how you can't empathise with the pain your mom had gone through and feel bad for the one who hurt your mom.
I feel sad. Im saying this coming from a household where my mom came from a poor family when she got pregnant with my sister and our grandparents gave my mom hell the whole time because they were rich. years past and when I was in high school I completely cut them off even if they were doting us because I can see how my mom gets ptsd whenever they came up of when she remembers everything. We are teenagers not brain dead kids to justify taking someone's side when you know your parent got traumatised by them. And kinda funny because my mom left us for awhile when I was kid because my dad's family . I never resented her for that. She's living her first life too.
Ohhhhh fcking hell I forgot that Hyesung was pretty much raped and shit. Which was heavily downplayed on the main story. So yeah. Fck that.
Fck Dojin. That prick knows what Hyesung has been through.
