So I think here is the time where a noble, which is a girl, will come, but I'm sure it is season 2 lol, this is not much of a spoiler but you can say it is. So that noble likes the duke, Jace got jealous but kept it to himself, the duke doesn't know it, by the end, the duke ask Jace if he was okay or more close to that, Jace can't say that he is jealous because he thinks what they were doing was a "business" then they have sex, in front of the door, I am pretty sure it wasn't a room, because Phil caught them lol. Then I think that was the time Jace realize that it wasn't a business. The duke rejected the girl then blah blah blah they noble girl and her sister, because it was Noah's birthday party of course there are kids, they went home. Then someone came, y'all remember Jace friend on the first chapters? You know, the one who introduced this job for him, so he came and I don't what's next because it was the end of season 2.
