can someone explain why aeroc is still alive, i thought he died? what's with the dreams??? i didn't read the chapters after aeroc died

i see, i just skimmed through the chapters after the aerocs death. and then both of them have recollection of the past. kinda hard to follow the story
Aeroc clearly has memories from the past life he did wake up in the past I think after dying.
