Also regarding the mom… well it’s indeed not great that she abandoned him, but why does he always only mention his mother? What happened to his father??? (I haven’t seen the Manhwa, only read 4 chapters of the novel…)
I can only say, it’s said that she did it to prevent MC from being targeted by Yokai (is it called like this in the Manhwa as well?) and maybe…. She’d rather want MC to live with hate towards her than yearning for her but never having the chance to meet?? Idk haha no matter what, there’ll hardly ever be a good reason for abandoning your child :)
