A few things here, they met when they were both kids. They started out as friends even if the younger one had some feelings. They didn’t get together until they were adults and it was mutual. They respect each other and acknowledge the age gap as a challenge sometimes but they like each other as adults, being adults. You can think your spouse was cute as a child APPROPRIATELY. It’s not like he was lusting after a child
