Part of me understood why Jae couldn't apologize properly yet.. his character is still developing and Dan is still uncomfortable to the fact that his still shackled through Jae's past self.
Others can apologize through time and thinking, so I don't blame Jae for not saying "sorry" or "begging" yet.
As a BL reader for a long time now, usually the "sorry" and "begging" starts at the peak of "the other will almost permanently disappear"
So, after the "two matches" Dan will be permanently gone and that's where the "chasing" and "begging" starts.

I would rather not see Jae beg just yet when it doesn’t exactly make sense for him to do it right now. Like you said, when the matches are done and their contract is terminated, by then Jae should have some kind of sense in his head to start the begging and chasing!
I am actually disappointed already by how fast it go and there are people who were asking for him to apologize already? Tf, he doesn't even felt that "heart wrenching guilt" just a realization that he likes dan and he ALREADY understood why it comes to this. And these mfs want him to apologize already? How fast do these things want this story goes?

Right. I think what the people want is consensual smut and a happy relationship or for the story to just end. I don’t see why they don’t just drop it and stop complaining there are so many good mangas and manhwas that are amazingly less toxic! Like “Our Sunny Days”. I swear people are just here to complain. Enjoy the dang story and appreciate the slow pace! Lol!
Still, fck him, fck mincheol. I will root for Hae soo no matter what. Na Hae soo finally moved on but the fcking author is still at it with Mincheol. He's fcking useless now, why bother seeking the past?
